This project is born as a result of the Mighty Men's Camp 2008 in Greytown, South Africa. MMC08

This project aims to replicate the MMC08 website in functionality (made by Studio7) but also extend it in the following:

Server Load Balancing and load balancing administration Server agnostic UI - e.g. the user should not know from which server it is getting its information from. Camp site / Hotel / Hostel placement Online payment User management Discussion forums Mass mailing / sms functionality Project Management Easy setup Catering / Food management and dispensation

The following technology will be used:Google Web Toolkit (GWT) as basis for development GWT-EXT for AJAX and effects Apache Tomcat or Glassfish as a Java Web App container Terracotta as JVM load balancing mechanism PostgreSQL database Eclipse or Netbeans as development environment
