Packet Forge is a library designed to simplify the job of writing network-oriented tools. Contrary to other network libraries, Packet Forge has no knowledge of particular protocols. Instead, it provides a generic framework into which modules can register various services or functionality such as new protocols, new protocol families, dump formats, and so on.
