Codename CGP is a cross-platform generic Card Game Player which provides a core and a set of game descriptions. The descriptions can be loaded by the core and played.

For example, there can be a hearts description, which, when loaded by the core, allows the user to play hearts against computer opponents or human opponents (locally or over a network).
